Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #22 - Gnomes with Miss Ink Stamps!

It's time for a new Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  This month's theme is Gnomes and our sponsor is Miss Ink Stamps!  Create a coffee, tea or cocoa themed Christmas Card that has at least one gnome on it for your chance to win a $25 gift code to the Miss Ink Stamps shop!

I used Java Joe for the coffee house in the background and Birthday Gnomes for my gnome that is doing some Christmas Shopping!  'Tis the Season!  (Almost)

Soon I'll be shopping and downing lots of extra coffee while I do it!  I'm in south west Arizona so probably there won't be a snow storm while I'm doing it but I might be dressed like this cute little gnome.

I added a tiny coffee cup.  I LOVE this cup that I got from a good friend once and it's gotten quite a bit of use.  I dare you to find me a smaller cup! (seriously... find me one!)

Be sure to hop on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog to see what everyone else has created... get some inspiration and play along!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

A Quick Gift Card Card with Miss Ink Stamps!

Welcome back and Merry Christmas Eve!  Things have been crazy around here and I needed a quick gift card card so I turned to this cute Coffee Mug card from Trinity Stamps and the Deer and Tree from Calm and Bright and Oh Deer from Miss Ink Stamps!  Love that the tree is a solid stamp so I only needed to color the sweet deer and her baby!

I decorated my mug using the Woodcut Floral background stamp!  I love that it's great for Christmas or any time of the year for an elegant background.  I used some Ink on 3 Gold Rush embossing powder and Versamark to emboss the front.  I'd buy that mug!

Be sure to come back tomorrow for the Crafty Elves!  We are hopping for Christmas and hope to see you or if not tomorrow check it out after you celebrate!  Hope your holidays are happy and full of warmth and love!

Miss Ink Stamps - Christmas Is Here!

Welcome back!  I had a lot of fun with this one... I used a few different sets from Miss Ink Stamps and I think they go perfectly together!

I started with the background.  I heat embossed the adorable cottage from Holiday Home and some snowflakes from a couple different sets in white.  Then I blended on some Tumbled Glass and Broken Glass Distress Oxide and then sprayed on some Ink On 3 Liquid Pixie Dust and splattered on a bit of white and blue glitter watercolor.

Then I stamped, cut and colored my images... I cut the center out of the Woodland Hearth image so that the cabin embossed in the background would show through... I was going for the feel that it's snowing and the home is in the distant background and you can barely see it through the snow.

And you may know by now how much I love frames and this large banner from Springtime Banners makes an awesome one!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps Release-Beautiful Destination

So excited because this week is a new release from Miss Ink Stamps and today we're sharing sneaks for the beautiful new Slimline background set, Beautiful Destination!  All the new sets will be in the shop in the New Release section on Saturday, September 26th!

I had a lot of fun coloring this one with Copics.. SO many greens...lol!  I love all the details ... I decided my scene was late summer early autumn so you can see my trees waayyyy in the back there are autumn colors.... and the longer grasses are turning a little brown.  I colored up this beautiful landscape and decided one of the deer from the Oh, Deer stamp set would be just right to finish it off!

One of the cool things about this set is that the mountains are separate so you can make them higher or lower or not use them at all!  And like all of the new slimline backgrounds it's so versatile and you can use it on all kinds of sizes of cards.

Miss Ink is having giveaways all week so be sure to check out the Miss Ink Stamps Instagram Account here for your chances to win!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #192

Welcome to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I hope you've had a wonderful holiday weekend and got to spend some time with your loved ones.  I had an awesome weekend although my craft room has been lonely!  Today I finally got up there and after getting all of the rest of my Happy Mail ready to go to the post office tomorrow, I made my card for this week's Sketch!

I used one of the woodgrain papers from the Oh Deer paper packet as well as a sentiment from one of the zip strips from the pack.  I'm playing along with the Color My Heart Color Challenge to use the Oh Deer paper colors and also Word Art Wednesday's Anything Goes Challenge.  You should check them out and play along too!

I just love the snowflake thin cuts from CTMH.  I love all of the thin cuts from CTMH as a matter of fact... they are beautiful and beautifully made.  I cut the largest snowflake once out of white glitter paper and once out of seaglass and then took the white paper negative piece, cut a square around the snowflake and then inserted the seaglass snowflake in the space.

Then I added some clear cardstock on the underside and popped the whole thing up.. added some beads and sequins and made a shaker out of it.

I just love the font on this zip strip.. I cut one of the sentiments off and used it as my card sentiment... a couple diecut banners from CDD Flag Banner Dies, half of the white snowflake, and some pretty Shimmer Sequins from CDD and it's done!

Hope you can join us this week over at Atlantic Hearts!

Coffee Hop Almost Day 5 and The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge

Welcome to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I used this adorable Your Next Stamp stampset called Sweet Holiday Greetings and some of my new favorite chipboard embellishments from Make It Crafty... and because my card has a hot chocolate and a Winter theme, I'm also linking it up to the Coffee Lovers Winter/Holiday Blog Hop!

Just love the cute little character shaped mugs on this set along with some other holiday images like the candy cane, the gingerbread man and woman and a few other... and this sketch was perfect to highlight some of these smaller stamps!

The smaller snowflakes and the word Merry are from Make It Crafty.  I just LOVE this chipboard... the words come with two... an outline and a thinner word so you can layer them... or use them separately like I did and you have two!  They are inexpensive and very thin and this chipboard takes color very nicely.  Although this time I wanted a more natural look and the uncolored pieces were perfect!  And look how dainty those snowflakes are!

Since I made the mistake of not ordering other sizes of snowflakes and I wanted this one to be a bit bigger I grabbed one of my wooden snowflakes from my stash.  The color is similar, but it's much bulkier and the wood doesn't take the color as nicely... but since I was leaving it natural it's ok.  And that pretty white and gold twine is from Lawn Fawn.

I used some My Favorite things double stitched circle dies and my Craftin Desert Divas Scribbled Circle Die for the center.  The paper is from CTMH and it's called Oh Deer and it's beautiful!  And of course I had to throw a few Paper Sweeties gold sequins around.  I was going to play along with Color Dare this week which is using the Oh Deer paper packet, but I couldn't help myself and needed to use some pink and some gold... so I'll try again before the week is over...lol!

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all of the challenges I mentioned today and also check out my other coffee project for today... or really tomorrow because it's Monday right now, but it's almost Tuesday...lol!
