I started by cutting the mug from some Kraft Paper and then used the new Latte Love stencil and Distress Oxides to add that beautiful pattern to the mug.

I used that beautiful coffee plant image from Brewtiful (one of my very favorite all time coffee themed sets) to accent it along with the sweet sentiment!

Easy peasy!  I just LOVE shaped cards don't you... and I am in love with that stencil for sure!!  #Idbuythatmug !

Will You Be My Gnomie? - The Cutting Cafe

Hey there!  I have a fun one for you today!  I picked up this adorable Gnome Shaped Card file over at The Cutting Cafe and I love it!!  It's been a while since I pulled out and plugged in my Cricut and I thought it was about time!

Isn't he adorable?!  And there are two different gnomes in the set so I'll be needing to make one with the other guy too.  I used some plaid for his hat because... well... plaid!  And there are a bunch of accessories that he could be holding but of course I picked the coffee cup!  I actually cut my pieces smaller than the file called for so that my largest piece would fit on a 12x12 sheet of paper.  I just pulled in all of my pieces and then selected all of them and shrunk the whole thing at once to the size i wanted.  I put him all together and then added the sign using some dies from Kat Scrappiness.

Hope you enjoyed it!  Oh I forgot to mention the sentiments that come with the set in JPG form so you can make them any size you want!  I chose this one but there are a few good for many different occasions or just because!  Very fun!

Thanks so much for stopping by and hope you'll come again soon!

The Cutting Cafe Inspiration - Front Door Shaped Card

Welcome to some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  Today we're sharing projects using the Front Door Shaped Card.

I used the Front Door with a Window (although most of my window is covered...lol!)  I cut the circle wreath and all of the flowers, and bow using the door file.   There are sentiments with the Front Door Shaped Card file, but I printed this sentiment from the Fall Window Boxes file.

Not to mention the pot, topiary and leaves.  This is such a great file that I will use over and over even without the door!

Thank you so much for stopping by!  Be sure to head on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog to see what everyone else has in store for you... you're gonna see some awesome stuff!  Don't forget to comment there for your chance to win three files of your choice.

Come back soon!

Cutting Cafe Inspiration - Anything Goes!

Welcome to some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  This time around it's Anything Goes so I had some fun playing around with one of my fave files, the T Shirt Shaped Card File.  I love this file because it's so fun to create any T Shirt you wish you had!  A great canvas for any design!  I decided it's finally time to get my Halloween on!

For this one I used some Halloween themed papers from my stash from Authentique and My Mind's Eye.  Of course one of them had to be plaid and I love that skeleton with a top hat that I cut from one of the papers!  And I had the perfect chipboard sticker for the sentiment!

And of course there is coffee!  Probably my very favorite file is the Coffee Cup Shaped Card 2.  I used the layering pieces and made them small enough to fit on my T Shirt card (the best part about SVG files vs dies... like digital stamps you can re-size them!) and another perfect sentiment from those chipboard stickers!

And that's me for today!  #IdbuythoseTshirts!

Thanks so much for stopping!  Be sure to hop on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog and comment there for your chance to win three files of your choice and then see what everyone else has created for you today!

Cutting Cafe Inspiration-Donut Fun!

It's time for some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  This time around we're playing with the Donut Fun File that's available in the shop here!    I had so much fun with this set it was hard to stop!

That adorable Donut background and sentiment are printables included in the set!  I printed a sheet of the background and used a die to cut out my 2nd layer and then a simple circle die to cut a couple donuts to use as embellishments.  I colored in the donut image that is the "O"  in Donut and then finished up with some Doodlebug stickers and that pretty heart die from my stash.

There are two Donut Shaped cards... there's this one that is the "side" view of the donut... and that sprinkled frosting was cut from another printable in the set.  I printed the whole sentiment PDF and then used what I needed from it, cutting them out with various dies.  (My coffee tells me to eat donuts all the time.)

And here's the top view Donut Card... and you can make both versions as a shaker!!  All the cuts you need are in the set.  I like my donuts with lots of frosting and the more sugar the better!

Then I re-sized the top two layers of one of the donuts and did the same with the Coffee Cup Shaped Card 2 to use on this card!  Then I built my sentiment using some words from my PDF sentiment sheet and some dies... this might be my fave... but I love them all!  I think you'll be seeing some more donuts soon.

Be sure to check out what everyone else has created with this very cool set!  Head on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog where you'll find links to all of my teamies great makes.  And be sure to comment at the Cutting Cafe Blog Post for a chance to win three files of your choice!  (I highly suggest the Donut Fun file!)

The Cutting Cafe Inspiration - Coffee!

Welcome to some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  Today we're featuring all things Coffee!  There are so many fun Coffee related files in the Cutting Cafe Shop!  You'll find a lot of them right here!  I'm using a custom Coffee Word Shaped Card file... you can get a custom shaped card too... see this section here!  Well, of course I chose a Coffee word card!

It is so fun to use this Coffee Word Shaped card along with so many of my fun Coffee sentiment stamps!

And because the word shape has so much impact it needs very little additional embellishment!

You can use any printed or plain papers that you want!    Mine are from coffee themed paper packs.

I just added a few flowers, a tiny butterfly and some sequins!

I'm playing along with the Spring/Summer 2019 Coffee Lover's Blog Hop!  You can check out all of the details for this fun hop here!

I'm also playing along at Cupcake Inspirations where the theme is Shaped Cards!

Now be sure to head on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog to see what everyone has created for you today!  Comment there for your chance to win three files of your choice!

Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge #22 - Shaped Cards!

It's time for a new Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!   This month it's all about Shaped Cards!  Create any card with a shape other than a Rectangle or Square!  Here's what I have for you today:

You may remember my recent post using the Ugly Sweater cutting file from The Cutting Cafe!  I had cut a couple extra cards at that time and decided to use the file for something other than Christmas sweaters.  And I had these Janes Doodles images all colored up to use during the Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Hop and ran out of time (thanks job!) so I decided Fall Sweaters would be awesome!

I chose a brown argyle from the Lawn Fawn Knit Picky Fall paper pack.  I had my card bases cut already so I cut two of the sweater layers .. one from the print and one from brown cardstock.  (And of course this guys got some pumpkin spice coffee!  Are you new here??)

After they were all cut out, I layered on my pieces and swapped the cuffs, neck and waste bands out for a little contrast.  I used the Taylored Expressions Cable Knit embossing folder to emboss the plain cardstock for some sweater texture.  Love that folder!!  I've used it so much during the chilly season.  Then I chose the images and sentiments I would use from the Hello Fall Sentiment Set, Nuts About You, and Pumpkin Spice sets that I had previously colored, cut them out and layered them onto my sweaters.

Aren't those cutie pie squirrels so cuuute!?!  Speaking of pie... I've still got lots more images from these sets so you may be seeing some more soon...lol!

That's it for me today!  Be sure you head on over to Donna's and Susan's places to see what they've created for you today and then head on over to Three Amigos to play along!  We can't wait to see what you create!

These Are A Few of My Favorite Cutting Cafe Things!

Welcome to some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  Today we're showing some of our favorites... old and new!  To start I'm sharing one of my new favorite files... the Ugly Sweater file!

There are SO many different combinations for this file!  Papers, stamps, cut shapes, die cuts, embellishments!  Here i used it with some winter papers.  I embossed the main part of the sweater using a folder and trimmed it with some plaid (of course).  Then I used this adorable printable owl stamp from the shop!

Then I used some red plaid and cardstock for this one along with the snowflake and HoHoHo cuts from the Ugly Sweater file and some leftover snowflake die cuts I had on my table.

And ... if you know me at all... you can't be surprised I added a little caffeine to one of the sweaters!  This adorable pup from the Cat's Pajamas along with the wreath and bow from the file and the Falala sentiment from a Paper Smooches stamp set!

I cut all of my accessories out at once in white cardstock and used my Copics to color them the colors I wanted.

So there's my new fave set!  Here are a few things I've made with some old faves!

Well, of course this coffee cup shaped card is one of my faves!   I made these two fairly recently and you can get more info at this blog post here!

I just love the Elisha Jean images and this Angel printable file is just super sweet!  You can find out more about this one at this blog post here!

And I've got a couple faves in here!  That printable owl... the snowflakes.. and those beautiful ornaments!  You can find out about all of these here!

I'm playing along with the Anything Goes Challenge over at Word Art Wednesday with my ugly sweater!  You should check it out!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Hope you've enjoyed your stroll through some of my faves!  Be sure to hop on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog to see what everyone else's faves are!  And comment at the Cutting Cafe Blog for your chance to win three files of your choice!  Maybe they'll be some of my faves too!

The Cutting Cafe - Designers Choice!

Welcome to some Cutting Cafe Inspiration!  This time around Regina let us pick any file we wanted to work with and I chose this beautiful Acorn Shaker Card that you can get in this cool set of Halloween and Fall Shaker Cards!  The set includes this acorn, candy, boo pumpkin and ghost shaker cutting files!!  Not to mention a few adorable sentiments for each!  I chose some old retired CTMH papers for this one.. I love the touch of blue that's in it and how it brightens up all of the other fall colors!

I used some stickers from the paper pack, some paper flowers and stamens from my stash, and that pretty gold twine from FSJ to decorate mine!  And lots and lots of sequins... I made this mix using all kinds of sequins and beads in my stash.. and lucky that the bead mix I used just happened to have a touch of blue in it AND love the way those shimmery sequins also reflect some of that blue color!

I chose a sentiment from the paper rather than one of the printables, but I have no doubt I'll use those on other autumn cards!  I just print them out and they're ready for whatever project I want to use them on!

These shaker card files are so fun and easy to put together!  I just pull the SVG version into my Design Space; size according to the included PDF and then choose what color I want to cut each of the layers out of!  The set also includes some leaves that I didn't cut out this time because I wasn't using green... although now that I'm thinking about it... I could have cut them out in a fall color or from some of my previously watercolored papers!!!  Next time!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope if you've never used an SVG file with your Cricut you'll give these a try!  Regina's files also come in other formats... including PDF, MTC, and WPC!  (I don't know what a couple of those are but I'm sure someone out there does and needs them!...lol)

Be sure to hop on over to the Cutting Cafe Blog where you'll find links to everyone's projects and leave a comment there for your chance to win three free files!!  Also, find out about the DT Call Regina is having!
