Miss Ink Stamps - Wishing You A Magical Birthday!

Happy Friday!  I'm back with some more Lovely Unicorns goodness and this time I've paired it with the new Rainbow Builder stencil... which I am in love with!

I started by adding the rainbow to the background.  This is a 3 layer stamp set and it's awesome!  You can pick any one you want or do all four!

I love how the second rainbow stencil also masks the lines from the first AND has some cool embossed lines on it that help you line up with the previous layer!

I started with the first layer and applied yellow, pink and blue (every other) Distress Oxides and then the second layer filled in the orange and purple.  The third adds the lines and stars and I used some gold glitter texture paste for that!  I use a paint brush to add some of the gold glitter paste to the orange strip.  I had gotten a little messy and accidently got some onto it so I decided to go full on and paint it on and I LOVE it!

I also used the cloud from the Rainbow Sky layered stencil and blended some ink through the full cloud and then added the pretty curly outline with some glitter paste.  After it was dry, I cut it out.

Finally I added my colored images, sentiment and some sequins!

And here are the colors I used!

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps-New Stencil Release-Sending Hugs

Happy Friday!  Today I'm showing off another one of the new stencils over in the Miss Ink shop and I've created some Glitter Paste using the Pink Flamingo Dazzle Dust available in the shop mixed with Glossy Accents!

This is the new Heirloom Blooms stencil and don't you love how that Dazzle Dust changes colors... here you can see the difference where the light is shining brighter it's a soft opalescent pink and as you angle it it becomes a deeper flamingo pink!

It's perfect along with some images from Springtime Banners and the Alice Background and a simple sentiment from Everyday Sentiments.

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!

A Happy and Quite Glittery Birthday-Miss Ink Stamps

Hello there!  I'm here with a little glittery goodness for you today!

I started by making some glitter paste with some Lucky Dazzle Dust and some Glossy Accents and applied it to my background panel through the Mouse Flower Stencil.  I set it aside to dry.

I had some flowers left over from last week's card... I colored some extras up and decided they'd be perfect for this card.

I stamped this sentiment from Unbirthday in green using the Misti.  I stamped it a couple times to be sure I had a nice solid impression and then once in Versamark.  Then I added some Wow City of Angels embossing powder and heated it.  The cool thing about City of Angels is it is a bit see through so the green shows through... and I love how it matches the background!  I fussy cut it out because I love the way it looks that way and it doesn't cover up too much of the beautiful background.

And isn't it cool how the Dazzle Dust color shifts from gold to green??  So fun!  And super pretty!

I popped up all of my pieces onto the card and added just a few sequins and I was done!

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Come again soon!

Congrats on the New Kid! - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  I'm playing with glitter again!  This time around I've made a glitter paste with some Glossy Accents and the Mermaid Lagoon Dazzle Dust.  I applied it through the Diamond Fade Stencil for my background.

I set that aside to dry while I stamped, cut (with my Scan N Cut), and colored my images.  The balloons are from Punny Farm Pigs and the goat from Punny Farm Goats.  I added some clear wink of Stella to my balloons... I love that you can see it in this pic!

When I was done with that and my background was dry, I created my shaker using a frame from my stash.  I attached acetate to the back of the frame and then added pop up tape around the edges.  I layered my background onto a white cardstock panel and that onto a purple base.  Then I poured some of those so fun and pretty Dazzle stars over my background along with some clear and turquoise sequins.  I love that they go perfectly with the Mermaid Lagoon Dazzle Dust which shifts from purple to turquoise as you move it!

And the Dazzle Stars color shift too!  They go together perfectly!

And there you have it!  Just a touch of sparkle...lol!

I'm playing along over at Double Trouble's Again and Again Challenge!  Use three of something on your project!  I have three balloons!  And the twist is to use something from your stash and a critter... that frame die has been hanging around for a long time in my stash and it's been quite some time since I used it and a goat (obvi!)   And since I've used a critter and something from my stash, I'm playing along with DT's partner for this challenge, Use Your Stuff!  You should check both of these out!  Play along with both and you get extra chances to win at Double Trouble!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Sending Big Hugs - Miss Ink Stamps

I'm back again with some more Miss Ink Dazzle Dust!  Today I'm playing with the Rose Garden variety!

It's a beautiful pink to green shift that made me think of Spring!

I made a paste again by mixing the glitter along with some Glossy Accents and applied it through the Halftone Lines Bold Edges stencil.

Once it was dry, I laid it under my Misti and placed a heavy box on top of it because it was a little curly.  I left it over night and it worked very nicely to flatten it.  I used strong adhesive from Scrapbook Adhesives along all of the edges to be sure it stayed that way!  And the adorable bunny and beautiful florals and sentiment ribbon from Springtime Bunnies and Springtime Banners were perfect to decorate along with a sentiment from the Decaf Background set (I just curved it a little on my block so that it would fit perfectly in the banner).

And there you have it!  I think this would make a beautiful Springtime or Valentines card for anyone!

Thanks for stopping!  Be sure to come back soon and often for more inspiration!
