Double Trouble Challenge #155 - Guestie!

A new challenge starts today over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog and I'm guesting over there this month!

This month, use your favorite cutting tool!   Of course mine is my Gemini Die Cutting Machine.  I love it... it's electric and really saved my shoulder because I use it... a lot... I mean like .. a lot a lot.  LOL!  And for the twist, wrap it up and add a ribbon, bow, twine, etc!

I mean... I took the assignment literally and really "wrapped it up".  My whole card is a wrapped gift!  I added a poinsettia as a bow using some old Paper Smooches dies, and added a bow die cut from The Greetery.  Those pretty red glitter and metallic green papers are from my latest quarterly Your Paper Insider Box!  The plaid is from Lawn Fawn and it's oooold... but you know I have a huge stash of plaid papers.

Double Trouble is partnering with Use Your Stuff this time around and if you've used your favorite cutting tool and added some ribbon, twine or a bow, you can link up over there too!

I added a simple sentiment using the Merry die set from Rubbernecker Stamps.

Easy peasy!   Head on over to the Double Trouble Challenge Blog for more inspiration and I can't wait to see what you create!

Thank you so much for stopping!  Come again soon!

Crafty Elves Countdown to Christmas - June 2022 Edition

My first card today is using one of the adorable pups from the Art Impressions Santa Paws stamp set.  I was sitting at my workspace and there he was leftover from another month... all colored up and ready to take his place on a card!

I decided this gel print I made using the Frosty Flakes stencil from Miss Ink Stamps and acrylic paint and added a sentiment from an MFT set and the Happy Holidays die cut from MFT (both retired) along with a little snow drift in my stash.

My next three cards are using images and sentiments from the Jaded Blossom Hipster Christmas stamp set.

I used another gel print made with watercolors and the Swirls Stencil from Rubbernecker stamps the Medium Stitched Snowflake from A Jillian Vance Design behind him.

And for the last two, I used two more background with the Swirls Stencil and layered a cool Plaid Die Cut over the top that I cut from Toner Paper that I Deco Foiled.

And for this one I used the Bold Snowflake die from AJVD and the Stitched Flag Dies from Kat Scrappiness.

For this one I used the Medium Snowflake again.

And that's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it!  And now be sure to head on over to Michael and Debra's blogs and see what they have for you this month!

Crafty Elves Light - February 2022

The Crafty Elves are on break this month!  We've all got reasons why time has just gotten away from us.  I'm just stopping in to let you know and share one Christmas card.

Cute, right??  I love this cutie pie Rudolph from Whimsy Stamps (it comes in rubber and digital too!) and I had the image partially colored from Copic Bootcamp so I put a quick card together and used a sentiment from AJVD.  I had gotten some panels cut from that pretty plaid paper from Memory Box knowing I wanted to use these colors for my cards this month so I colored the remainder of the image to match.  Next month I'll have more cards using this paper!

Thanks so much for stopping and be sure to come back again next month on the 25th to see what we've got for you!  And we're still playing!  So let's see who won some Happy Mail from last month's post:

Judy!  Send me your snail mail at Bzscrapper66 at gmail dot com and I'll get some Happy Mail out to you!

Thanks so much to everyone who stopped by and left some love last month!  Leave me some this month and you could win some Happy Mail too!

Miss Ink Stamps - You Color My World Plaid

Welcome back!  I've got a fun plaid background today I made using a couple Miss Ink stripey stencils, the Candy Stripe Stencil and the Diagonal Stripes Stencil.

I started with a panel of yellow cardstock and applied some Ink on 3 Atelier Marigold Orange ink through the Diagonal Stripes stencil.  Then I laid the Candy Strip Stencil over the top but criss crossing the opposite way and applied some Atelier Twiggy Brown over it.  I applied a bit more of the orange after lining up the stencil again.

Next I heat embossed the Fall Bouquet over the plaid using some Ink On 3 Gold Rush Fine Embossing Powder.  I colored the images using Zig Markers and love how the plaid shows through it.  I splattered some water over the top and soaked up the extra and then splattered some gold color shine and set it aside to dry.

Finally, I diecut the letters from the EI EI O die set twice to make the word Hello (I just save the extras for another time) and popped them up on the card and then used a sentiment from the Sunshine and Rainbows stamp set to finish it off.

That's me for today!  Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Stencil Week at Miss Ink Stamps With Perfect Plaid!

Hey there!  It's Stencil Week over at Miss Ink Stamps and we've got some fabulous new stencils for you and a chance to win some!

I used two of the new stencils for this one... 'cause why not??  I started by blending some distress oxides from Squeezed Lemonade (bottom right) to Spiced Marmalade (top left) across a panel through the Perfectly Plaid stencil.  Then I removed the stencil and blended more Squeezed Lemonade over the yellow plaid... you could still see the lines but a little less contrast.  I laid the Fall Mandala Stencil over the yellow and blended some of the Spiced Marmalade and Rusty Hinge over it.  Finally I splattered a few drops over water over the top and soaked up the extra with a towel.

Loved it so much I didn't want to cover it up!  So I opted for Hey There using the Ei-Ei-O Word Dies and a little sentiment strip from the Decaf Background stamp set to finish it off.. well... of course a few of my favorite sequins from Trinity.

That's me for today!   Be sure to check out the new Miss Ink's Pad Facebook Group here and request to join (be sure to answer the questions!)  And you'll find there a chance to win some of the new stencils (your choice!).  And then head over to the Miss Ink Stamps IG account here and find the Stencil Release Graphic to see how you can win there!

Thanks for stopping!  Come again soon!

Miss Ink Stamps Release Sneak - Slim's Whims!

I am so excited!  Today I'm sharing sneaks of a new stamp set that will be available in the Miss Ink Stamps shop on Saturday and it's a really special set because My very own good boy, Slim was the inspiration!

I believe this was the photo that did the inspiring... I mean... of course it did!  Do you see that face??

I LOVE this set!  I love that all of the stamps are separate and you have so many choices of combinations or you can just use Slim all on his own!

He's a goof ball....

Or he can be very fancy and thoughtful.

And... you may say...but dogs don't wear glasses....

Says you!

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to Instagram to the Miss Ink Stamps account for a chance to win and you'll find links to my teamies' projects for today!
