Craft Elves Countdown to Christmas - May 2025 Edition!

Welcome back!  And Merry Christmas in May!  It's the 25th of the month and time for the Crafty Elves to share the Christmas Cards we made this month.

I've used some beautiful dies from A Jillian Vance Design.  I had created the poinsettia for a previous project and decided I only needed one instead of two so I decided to use it today!

I added some pine branches and pine cones to a gel printed background and layered over it white layer cut with an edge die.
And finished it off with the Seasons Greetings from the Scripty Greetings die set.

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to Michael and Debra's places to see what they have for you today!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #37

Happy New Year!  It's time for the first Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge of the year!  This month the theme is Coffee, Christmas and Snowflakes!  I created my card using ALL leftovers from previous projects!

I started with a pretty foiled blue background that I was going to use for a previous project and then changed my mind.  The frame was made using the leftovers from a recent card where I had to cut it twice to get the center insert in a different color (using papers from Your Paper Insider) so used the remaining pieces here!

The poinsettia, flourish and snowflakes were foiled and cut for a couple Mixed Media projects ... I had cut a bunch and these were extra so I was able to use them here!  And for the sentiment I had foiled a sheet of sentiments from Therm O Web and this one was perfect for this snowflake theme!

And last but not least I had printed this adorable image from LTTS Doodles long ago and it was in my stash of extras so I cut it out and colored it for this one... so cute, right??  I decided this time to color him in purple..because... why not?

So that's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog where the Caffeinated Christmas Challenge now resides to see what everyone has created for you today and then play along!  I can't wait to see yours!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #25 - Snowflakes with AJVD

It's time for a new challenge over at Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!

This time around our Sponsor is A Jillian Vance Design and theme is Coffee, Christmas, and Snowflakes!  Here's how I was inspired:

I cut the Mug using the coordinating die to the Hug In A Mug stamp set!  I love that the handle cuts out so that the mug die can be used with or without the stamp.  I cut the mug and snowflake (the three Bold Snowflakes from AJVD are among my favorites!) from some pretty white holographic paper from one of my Your Paper Insider boxes and glued the snowflake onto the mug making it look like a pretty embossed holiday mug.

The background is my favorite holiday paper from Vicki Boutin which just happened to have some pretty snowflakes on it.

Almost all of the rest of the die cuts are from past projects that I ended up not using but they were perfect for this one!  I did add those cute mini tags for this project but everything else was "extras" from prior projects.

I love the size of this mug because it's big enough to be the main focus of a card and super love how all of these poor little misfit die cuts go perfectly together for this card.

We hope you'll play along with us!  You have until the 25th of the month and you could win a set of three different Bold Snowflakes!  You want them... you really do!

Thanks for stopping and be sure to head on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog for more inspiration and to play along!

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #16 - Brewtiful Rainbow

Welcome to the April Caffeinated Christmas Challenge!  The theme is Coffee, Christmas and Rainbow!  I love rainbows and extra love them for a Christmas card!

Artful Angel is our sponsor!  Here's how I was inspired:

I'm using Artful Angel's Coffee Break stamp set for today (which also happens to be the prize for this challenge!).  It's a really cute set that includes separate images for the cup, lid, wrap and heart and also includes a spoon, cookies, coffee beans and more... including some great sentiments!

I created the background with that poinsettia stencil from Paper Rose Studios.  I blended some rainbow Distress Oxide colors and then applied Glitz Glitter Gel in iridescent over the top.  While it was drying I stamped, cut and colored my images.  I popped them up on the card and added a sentiment combining stamps from Miss Ink's Brewtiful and Seasons Greetings stamp sets.

That's me for today!  Head on over to the CCCC blog and see what everyone else has created for you today!  And then play along!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Thanks for stopping!  I hope you'll come again soon!

Crafty Elves Merry Christmas 2022!

Welcome back!  And Merry Christmas!

I'm sharing just a couple quick cards today!  It's been a busy month and if you haven't been around in a while you'll find lots more Christmas Card inspiration in almost all of my posts from this month!

And after you leave here, please do go and visit Debra and Michael's places to see what they have for you today!

Last time I was playing with the Gel Press I made a couple using that beautiful Paper Rose Poinsettia stencil that I got at Topflight Stamps!

I added some glitter to this one when I made it so all I did was cut a panel and add that Believe word die from Rubbernecker Stamps.

I love the variation in colors... hard to see here, but this one got run through the Minc with some used Magical Shattered Glass foil which added just enough sparkle.

And built the sentiment with a Merry from Miss Ink's Season's Greetings set and the Rubbernecker Stamps Christmas die.

Easy peasy right??

I want to thank everyone who has stopped by for our little hop throughout the year!  I so enjoy this post even when time is short.  As always I don't have my cards out in the mail yet, but they'll be going out this week.  I forgot to buy stamps!

As always I'm having a giveaway!  And thanks to everyone who wins and is patient with me.  I can be slow mailing sometimes.   I decided to send two people Happy Mail this time around... so let's see who the winners are this month from last month's comments:

Meghan and Denise!  Please send me your snail mail at bzscrapper66 at gmail dot com and I'll get your Happy Mail out to you!

Thank you again to all of my crafty friends who stop and say hello!

A Jillian Vance Design - Enjoy the Beauty

I'm up on the blog over at A Jillian Vance Design with this one!  I hope you'll join me over there for links and details!

I'm also playing along with a couple Christmas In July challenges going on right now!

There is a fun hop and Linky Party going on over at the Build Your Stash Holiday Cardmakers!  Lots of sponsors and prizes and you have until the 30th to link up!  Just create a Christmas Card and link it up for your chance to win.  And while you're at it, don't forget about their Facebook group and the sketch challenge they have going on over there.  I didn't use the sketch for this one, but you can!

Over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog it's also Christmas In July!  Meet the twist by using a bow on your project!  AND they're partnering with Heart2Heart Challenges this time and theme there is also Christmas In July!  For this challenge, Heart2Heart is waiving the requirement to use at least one Close To My Heart product on your project, but they'd love to see it if you do!  I have a bow AND I have used a CTMH product.. that fun gold gem is an oldie but a goodie and still one of my favorite embellishments.

Thanks so much for stopping and I hope you'll come again soon!
