Drink Happy Thoughts - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  It's the last day of the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog Hop and I've got some more Miss Ink Stamps for you!

You'll find a ton of caffeinated products in the Miss Ink Shop along with lots of other fun stuff.

For this one I stenciled the coffee rainbow onto the white cardstock panel and stamped the sentiment from the new Coffee stamp set with Color Fuse Inks.

I knew I wanted to make my Gardenia using foiled gel prints so I created one with yellow acrylic paint and cut the pieces from it as well as that beautiful frame.  I had the foiled green in my scraps for the flower center and leaves.  And finally I stamped, cut and colored the cup from Brewtiful.

That's me!  Thanks so much for stopping!

And don't forget to head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to play along!  You have until late tonight.  AND there's a sale going on over at Miss Ink until the 12th!  No code needed!

Miss Ink Stamps - To Perk You Up - Mid Mod Coffee

I'm sharing another card using the Artsy Abstracts stencil from Miss Ink Stamps and some Mid Mod inspiration and this time it's caffeinated!

I used the large "blobs" to create a coffee colored background and then stamped some of the images from the Brewtiful stamp set and used the detail stencil to add some steam.  I stamped the images in brown Memento ink instead of the usual black.  I decided to cut the cup from Brewtiful out and color it and pop it up with thin foam tape as well as the sentiment.

So... Mid Mod Caffeine!

And here's my inspiration:

That's me for today!  Thank you so much for stopping!  Come again soon!

Give It Your Best Shot - Miss Ink Stamps

Hello!  Happy Friday!  I've got some caffeinated inspiration for you today!  It seems my week has been full of it!

I started with a slimline I created with my Gel Press and the Latte Love Stencil along with some shimmery acrylic inks.  I heat embossed the floral from the Brewtiful stamp set in gold on teal cardstock that I diecut with the same slimline die that I cut the base panel with.  Then I fussy cut the florals leaving the stitched edges and popped them up onto the card on either end.

Finally, I stamped, cut and colored the X and cup and stamped the sentiment and added them and a few sequins!

Here's a short video showing all the backgrounds I made with the Latte Love stencil!  You'll find other cards I made using some of them here and here and here!

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!

Thanks so much for stopping!

2022 Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop-Miss Ink Stamps Brewtiful

I made a quick card for today using a Gel Press Print I created earlier using the Tiki Tiles Stencil from Miss Ink along with images from the Brewtiful Stamp Set!

I wanted the coffee images to be very subtle so I embossed them in gold onto the gel print.  The coffee plant florals on the top and bottom and some beans and the coffee molecule scattered throughout!

This is one of my fave sets because you can make a card that is full on coffee or something more subtle like this...

Thank you so much for stopping and be sure to head on over to the Miss Ink Stamps Blog and the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to hop.  Lots of sponsors and lots of prizes at each stop!  You'll find the full hop links at both places!

Come again soon!  And be sure to check out my other projects for today!

It's the last day of the Fall/Winter 2021 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!  You have until the end of today to link up!  I've got two cards for today and this one is using some Miss Ink Stamps:

One of my favorite coffee sets is the Brewtiful set from Miss Ink!  It's got all you need to make a fun and beautiful coffee card... cups, coffee plants, beans, the chemical symbol and lots of great sentiments!  I used a little of all of it!

I heat embossed the caffeine symbol over a gel print from my stash... and don't you just love that sentiment??  I have a friend that says that all the time... maybe I'll send this to her!

Be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog to see how you could play along for your chances at lots of great prizes!  And if you link up before noon today (Friday, November 19th) you will also have a chance at some flash prizes!  Grand prizes will be posted this Sunday.

National Coffee Day Hop-Miss Ink Big Mugs

Hello!  Welcome back!  Have you hopped the National Coffee Day Hop yet??  You still have a few days and I have some inspiration for you!

Miss Ink Stamps is a sponsor for the NCD hop!  Miss Ink has lots of coffee and tea themed stamp sets, but I'm of the belief that any stamp set can be a coffee stamp set!  So I used the dinosaurs from Unstoppable for this one along with cups from Brewtiful and Just Be-Caws and the Big Mugs sentiment!  I mean... that's a big mug!!

I'd say it might be big enough!  Dinosaurs didn't drink coffee you say?  Well, see how that turned out for them???  They're extinct!

I used a gel print that I created with the Random Dots stencil for the background.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Now be sure if you haven't already to head over to the Coffee Loving Cardmakers National Coffee Day Hop post here and start hopping and commenting for your chances to win lots of great products!  ALSO!  Today is International Coffee Day and you'll find another mini hop and more chances to win!  You'll find that post here!  And Happy Day and Good Luck!

I used some great products from Miss Ink Stamps along with that fabulous Coffee Mug Card Die from Trinity Stamps!

I started by cutting the mug from some Kraft Paper and then used the new Latte Love stencil and Distress Oxides to add that beautiful pattern to the mug.

I used that beautiful coffee plant image from Brewtiful (one of my very favorite all time coffee themed sets) to accent it along with the sweet sentiment!

Easy peasy!  I just LOVE shaped cards don't you... and I am in love with that stencil for sure!!  #Idbuythatmug !

Hippo Bird Day To You - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  For today I have some more Miss Ink Stamps, along with alcohol inks, Deco Foil and EVO paper!

And I'm playing along with the It's a Girl Thing Annual Turner Syndrome Awareness Blog Hop !   I was inspired by the colors and added a few pretty little butterflies while I was at it!  Here's the inspiration photo:

How are you inspired?  I hope you find some time to play along and hop on over to the blog to find out all about Lori and her daughter Julie's journey with Turner Syndrome.   Did you know that Turner Syndrome is a lesser known genetic disorder that occurs in 1 in 2000 babies and is accompanied with lifelong medical issues and learning disabilities?  There is so much information over on the blog... be sure ot check it out and help us spread the word.  You might even win a prize!  I can't wait to see what you create!

This time I wanted some lighter colors for my alcohol ink background so cut a panel of EVO paper and picked out a couple of my Copic reinker bottles that were the colors I wanted and went to town.  Using the same technique as on my last, I moved the colors around with some Blending Solution and then added foil from my scraps when I was done.  If you'd like a little more info on adding the foil you can check out my post over at Miss Ink from yesterday here!

I had started coloring up some flowers and leaves from Brewtiful and Springtime Banners as well as birds and butterflies when I decided there was a big of a tropical feel so I decided one of the adorable Hippos from Hippo Hooray would be perfect!

And I just love this punny sentiment from the Hippo set so I decided it was the one and why not add a Hippo friend, that cute little turtle??  Check out the shine on that background!  I guess these colors inspired me to give this a tropical feel.

Thanks so much for stopping!  Hope you enjoyed it and you'll come again soon!
