Crazy 4 Challenges C4C511 - Sketch Challenge!

Hello there!   I'm guesting over at the Crazy 4 Challenges Blog this month and this week we've got a Sketch Challenge for you.  Here's the sketch:

And here's how I was inspired:

I've used a bunch of the new release from Miss Ink Stamps for today's card!  I started by embossing a panel using the Woodcut Floral set.  I absolutely love this background stamp!

And don't you just love the tree with the owl and adorable sleepy critters from Calm & Bright?

Aren't they so sweet??

 

And another lovely sentiment from the Seasons Greetings set.

Miss Ink Winter Release - Snow Buddies!

We're sharing inspiration all week for the new release over at Miss Ink Stamps!  Today it's all about the Snow Buddies stamp set!  I've used it here along with some of the other new sets and created another shaker card!

To create my shaker I die cut a circle into my rectangle panel, added some acetate, and added some popup tape.  Over my base, I layered a rectangle panel that I stamped with the new Woodcut Floral stamp set in Versamark and heat embossed with a minty blue powder.  Then I added a circle that I stamped with the Snowy Village set and colored; some beautiful glitter shaker filling and then the die cut window panel popped up over the top.

Then these adorable Snow Buddies!!  How cute that they're building a snow rabbit!  I added a tree from the Calm and Bright set.

I added a sentiment from the Season's Greetings sentiment set and was lucky to have a piece of my embossed panel handy along with one of the cute little mice from Snow Buddies to embellish.  Just a few sequins scattered around and done!

Miss Ink Winter Release Inspiration Week - Snowy Village!

Welcome to some Inspiration using the Snowy Village stamp set from Miss Ink Stamps.  It's part of the Winter Release and it's SO pretty!  Great as a background or the star of the show!

I stamped the image onto Copic friendly paper and colored it in.  I added a little bit of Stickles for some snowy sparkle and some white gel pen to the trees as snow.

I created a shaker by embossing a panel with the new Woodcut Flower stamp set in a minty blue color and then I cut a window out of it; added some clear plastic and filled it with some beautiful glitter shaker filling.

I added the Celebrate word die cut from the Streamers Die Set and part of a sentiment from the new Seasons Greetings sentiment stamp set.
