Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge - Java Merry Christmas!

It's time for a new Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  This month we're inspired by Pixie Dust Designs and I'm sharing a card using some items not really meant for the holidays, but with a few add-ons, they sure are fun for the holidays!

I used the Unicorn Mug Dies along with some extras from the Penguin Mug (scarf) and Snowman Mug (Holly).  I cut the pretty mane from pink gel print and foiled green gel print.  The alicorn was cut from gold glitter paper.  Holly leaves were cut from foiled toner paper and the berries from pink glitter paper.  Scarf background was another pink gel print and stripes from more foiled toner paper.

For the background I die cut another pink gel print I made with acrylic paint and foiled it with a leftover deco foil sheet from foiling one of the Lavish Lace card fronts.

That's me for today.  Be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's blog to see what everyone has for you today!

Thanks for stopping!

It's time for a new Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge over on the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog.

This time around I used some fun products from lots of places.  I started with a gel print using a stencil from Gina K Designs.  I deco foiled it with some Magical Shattered Glass foil from Brutus Monroe/Therm O Web.

I cut the mug from Brass & Bliss Craft Co and added a snowflake from them too!  That adorable pug is from Spellbinders and that cute sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #42 - June 2025

Today is the start of the June 2025 Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  And with this new month comes some changes!  We hope you love them like we do!

Our first change is actually a change back to beginning on the 1st of each month and ending on the 25th!  This will make it easier to remember and give you a little more time to play along.  Design team members will host each month and the theme will simply be Coffee, Tea or Cocoa and Christmas!  We may highlight a sponsor in our post, but to add an item from that sponsor will be optional.  There will be a prize which could be from the host of that month's challenge or a sponsor!  Be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafter's blog for ALL of the details!

This month Amy is our host and we're highlighting products from Super Sponsor Doodlebugs and the prize is a $20 gift code to their shop!

I was inspired by the adorable Pretty Pink Posh Winter Mug and Holiday Add On that is available in the Doodlebug Shop!

I love the Add On and its adorable little details!  I decided to make my mug a reindeer and in my usual fashion I cut my pieces from foiled gel prints.

I created the background with a negative sheet from foiling a pretty snowflake toner card front from Therm O Web and a gold gel print.  Then just a simple sentiment from Therm O Web as well.

That's me for today!  Head on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Blog and see what everyone else has made for you today!

Thanks for stopping!  I can't wait to see what you create!

Craft Elves Countdown to Christmas - May 2025 Edition!

Welcome back!  And Merry Christmas in May!  It's the 25th of the month and time for the Crafty Elves to share the Christmas Cards we made this month.

I've used some beautiful dies from A Jillian Vance Design.  I had created the poinsettia for a previous project and decided I only needed one instead of two so I decided to use it today!

I added some pine branches and pine cones to a gel printed background and layered over it white layer cut with an edge die.
And finished it off with the Seasons Greetings from the Scripty Greetings die set.

That's me for today!  Be sure to head on over to Michael and Debra's places to see what they have for you today!

A Lotle Coffee - Miss Ink Stamps

I do need alotle coffee!!  I decided to make a background with the Latte Love stencil.  I stenciled the latte hearts first with some Lagoon Distress Ink because the Opal deco foil is very light and I thought it might make them show up a little better.  Then without removing the stencil I added some Transfer Gel Duo and set it aside to dry to tacky.

While it was drying I stamped, cut and colored my other pieces.  When it was tacky, I added the foil and placed it in a carrier sheet and then ran it through my die cutting machine... no heat needed because the Duo gel has enough tack to transfer the foil without heat and then my gel doesn't spread!  I also took my shim out because you don't need a ton of pressure.

I thought the hearts kind of looked like water especially with that shimmery opal.

That's me for today!  Thanks for stopping!
