Miss Ink Stamps-Snowflakes and Sliding By

Welcome back!  I've got some more Miss Ink Stamps and gel print background using the Snowflakes Stencil!

This time I used the adorable penguins from Ice Day with it and I love it!

I still got some sparkle from that foil sheet I think I used about 4 or 5 times!!  Check out my video up on the Miss Ink Blog to see how I created a bunch of backgrounds with my gel press and the Snowflakes Stencil and then I Deco Foiled this one (and yesterday's)

Thanks so much for coming!  I hope you enjoyed it.

Hope you'll come again soon!

Double Trouble Challenge Blog - Guest

Excited to be guesting with Double Trouble Challenge Blog this month!  This special challenge runs from Dec 6th through January 2nd!  It's all about the Holidays or any other Special Event Day!  There is an optional twist of using Numbers in your design and our partner for this month is The Paper FunDay Challenge!

Here a helpful calendar up on the blog with some special days you can use for inspiration!  I used Baking Cookies Day, December 18th for my inspiration or use one of your own!  Here's how I was inspired:

I created this one using some fun products from Rubbernecker Stamps!  I know I'm looking forward to Christmas Cookies!  I love a nice cutout cookie with lots of frosting!!  And with a cup of cocoa?? (or coffee) ... perfect!

I fit some numbers into my design using some Santa Post Card stamps for my sentiment cluster.

Now it's your turn to play along with us!  You have almost a full month to do it!  Visit the Double Trouble blog for details and to link up!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Crafty Elves' Countdown to Christmas - November 2020 Edition

Welcome to this month's Crafty Elves' Countdown to Christmas!  We pledged to make a card a week for the year and every 25th of the month my crafty friends and I share the Christmas cards we made that month!  Be sure when you leave here you check out what they have for you today:

Now!  Here is how I was inspired:

There's a new release over in the Rubbernecker shop and I LOVE it!  This one is using the new Christmas Inchies stamp set!  And I used the cool Shadow Box die to create a 3-D card.  You know how much I love dimension and layers!

I love this Shadow Box die and these inches are perfect for creating a cute holiday scene in it!  I was able to easily create layers for it by using the die to cut a second box from printed paper and then just cut on the embossed fold lines and trimmed the pieces a tiny bit smaller.  This one fits on a 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" base but you'll need to present it in a box because it definitely won't fit in an envelope.

I used the Inchies again for a slimline... I just love these adorable little images!!  And those Christmas lights are awesome.  I had fun with a non traditional color scheme too.

My sentiments on both of these Inchies cards are stacked sentiments on the set, but I needed them to be long so I just stamped them and then cut them apart!

And then I turned to the adorable Snowmen With Presents set.  I decided to use a couple of the critters from Wintery Friends on both of these... they were perfect!

For this one I used some design paper for my background and stitched hills to cut glitter paper for my snow.

For this one, I used a die cut from the slimline clouds to create this background along with some Color Fuse Ink.  The Christmas lights from the Inchies set came in handy for this one and the bunny is from Wintery Friends.

And that's me!  I have links below to all of the Rubbernecker products I used for today.

Don't forget to head on over to my crafty friends' places and see what they've created, but before you go I have a winner from the comments of last month's post:

Verna!  Send me your snail mail so I can drop you some happy mail!

We're playing again this month!  Leave me some love and I'll pick a name and send you some Happy Mail.

Thank you so much for stopping by today and hope you enjoyed it!  We have something special planned for next month's posts too so be sure to come back again!

Miss Ink Stamps Release Day - Scene Builder Meadow!

Yay!  Today is the day!  You can find all of the new stamp sets in the shop!

I'm celebrating today using the new Scene Builder Meadow set along with the bunnies, sentiment, chicks and flowers from Springtime Bunnies and the sweet little butterflies from Say Cheese!

The very cool thing about this set is there are a lot of separate pieces to the scene and it's so easy to use on so many different projects!  I used it as it lays on the sheet for today in its full slimline design.  I stamped all of my parts onto a panel cut from Copic friendly paper and colored it with my Copic markers.  Then I colored all of my little add on critters and flowers and attached them with varying thicknesses of foam tape.

So much fun right??  I'll be sharing lots of cards in the coming weeks with various pieces parts from this set.

If you want them, you can find all of the new sets in the shop here!

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you enjoyed the last few days as much as I have!  Come again soon!

I Need to Quit! - Rubbernecker Stamps

Welcome back!  I'm sharing with you a fun shaker to send to anyone just because!  With a red, white and blue color scheme it's perfect for summertime giving!

I started by die cutting the shaker cover using the Nested Scallop with Half Holes largest rectangle and the Star Bursts/Fireworks dies together by taping the fireworks in place where I wanted them and running them through my Gemini.  Then I flipped it over and added a piece of acetate over the cutout fireworks and then foam tape around the entire panel.  I used the foam tape to block off the area where the sequins would go so they wouldn't just fall to the bottom of the shaker and then some additional foam tape for support on the rest of the shaker.

I eyeballed where the sequins would go and placed them onto my blue base and popped the top over them!

I cut the margarita glass and contents from Copic friendly paper and colored the pieces before gluing them together.

I colored my margarita slush in a red, white and blue and then added some sparkles using red and blue gel pen and just dotted it on and then some Wink of Stella for the white center.  I colored the straw in stripes and added gel to that also.  I popped the glass up onto my base.

Finally, I stamped my sentiment onto some white cardstock using Serene Color Burst Ink and then centered it with a banner die and cut it out and added it to the card.

Finally a few more sequins as if they escaped from my shaker and I was done!  I'd drink that drink!

Thanks so much for stopping by today and hope you come again soon!

Below are links to all of the Rubbernecker products I've used today.  Should you choose to purchase using these links I will receive a small compensation.  And thank you!

National Iced Tea Day 2020 With the Coffee Loving Cardmakers

Happy National Iced Tea Day!  Today the Coffee Loving Cardmakers are celebrating with a hop!  You can find all of the links on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog here!  Comment at every stop for your chance to win a $15 gift code to a sponsor of the Spring/Summer 2020 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!

Here's how I was inspired today:

I chose the Endless Potential digital stamp set from Polka Dot Orchard!

Cute, right??

I love the cute backgrounds in this set!  As well as some really great sentiments both tea and non-tea related!  My tea could be lemonade!

I LOVE iced tea!  I have a big 24 oz glass of home brewed iced tea every day (after my morning coffee of course) and as the glass empties, I add more water so by the end of the day I'm drinking mostly water.

You Are Not Alone - Reverse Confetti

Hello again!  So glad to see you here!  Today I'm playing along with the Stock Your Stash Challenge over at Reverse Confetti!  I recently... idk... sometime since I've been home...not even sure what day it is but I'm pretty sure it's the weekend or I'd be working... or I'm in trouble...lol... ordered some stuff and decided it was time to get it out and use it!  This month's challenge is "Hello/Just Because" so I created a card to send out to a friend just because we're all feeling a little alone right now... maybe both literally and figuratively...

I've been wanting this Butterfly Blossoms stamp and dies since it came out... I've had it in a cart I don't know how many times and finally it's in my house!  It's just SO pretty!  I have lots of butterflies... why I kept talking myself out of it...lol... but THIS is my favorite!

And that background... when I was getting ready to place my order, I said to Amy, "Amy.  What background die to do I need from Reverse Confetti?"  and she said that this Stitched Scallops Cover Panel was one of her faves, so there it went into my cart!  And I love it too!

And you know I love frames.. and these Scalloped Squares are a new favorite of mine!

I added a few of my favorite sequins from Trinity and I was done!

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you'll come again soon!
