Trinity Stamps - Thankful For You

Welcome back! I'm so honored to be guesting with Trinity Stamps this month and I'm up on the Blog today!  I have a card for you featuring the awesome new Layered Pine Tree Stencil Set along with Forest Friends and the Autumn Sentiments stamp sets!  The beautiful Layered Pine Tree Stencil is not just for Christmas!

I started by cutting out the Coffee Mug Card from white cardstock.  I decided to lay the card flat and stencil across the front and back using various green Distress Oxide colors so that when the card is turned over, the trees are on the back also.  I didn't decorate it otherwise, but I just liked the idea of covering the entire outside of the card with this beautiful pine forest.  Once the trees were on, I used some blue in the sky and blended the remainder of the card including the handle with more green.  I used the Trinity Blending Buddy Brush which I love because it's got that awesome tapered head, making it easy to get into the nooks and crannies of the trees without totally covering them.

I covered the bottom of the card with dots of autumn colored Nuvo Drops to give the feel of a forest floor and scattered leaves and other items.  We are standing at the end of a stand of pine trees just at the edge of a beautiful leafy forest.    I stamped, die cut and colored up my forest friends along with the pumpkins, leaves and mushrooms.  I added them all to the card with various thicknesses of foam tape.. something I have plenty of in my stash!

This sentiment from the Autumn Sentiments set was perfect along with a couple leaves and a mushroom from Forest Friends.

I used the card holder die from the Coffee Mug Card die set for the inside of my card where I placed a Dutch Brothers Coffee gift card and taped down my flaps for the other side and added a couple more Forest Friends images.

I scattered a few of my new favorite Soapy Bubbles sequins around and done!

That's me for today!  I hope you enjoyed your visit!  I'll be back on the Trinity Blog again this month and hope to see you again!  Thanks so much for stopping!

Trinity Stamps Winter Release Blog Hop

I am honored to be guesting with Trinity Stamps for the Winter Release!  It's an awesome release and so excited I got to play with these great products!  You should have come here from the uber talented Courtney Kreeber's place!   Hop and comment all along the way for your chance to win a $25 gift code to the Trinity Shop!  You have until Friday, November 7th at 11:59pm to comment and the winner will be announced on the Trinity Blog on the 8th!

Here's how I was inspired:

Included in the release are some fantastic Slimline dies... I've used one of them on a couple of my projects today, including this one along with the adorable images from the Gingerbread House Stamps and Dies and the Merry Christmas Dies.  You can find all of these new products here!

O M Garsh!!  Adorable images in the Gingerbread House set... it was so fun to put this card together!  I absolutely love those lights... I think they may be my favorite.  This sweet bird has baked some cookies and is expecting some company!

And here is her friend!  They're going to celebrate the holidays together and she brought a gift and of course she showed up with a couple lattes!  (Those are from the Frappy Camper stamp set...lol!  You knew I'd have some coffee here didn't you?)

Love, love the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini Dies!  It's a three die set, with the words, the outline and a little banner that I didn't use here, but is fantastic for the little sentiments in the Merry Christmas Senti-Mini stamp set!

And the Slimline Series: Stitched Dies... can't say enough!  The 8 1/2" x 3 1/2" size is so fun to have a little extra room.  I created a shaker from mine using a beautiful glitter mix from Trinity.

I'm linking this one up to Simon Says Stamp's Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge!  You should check it out!

I loved playing with the Slimline dies so much I used them again for this one!  I used it along with the Snowman Border Builder.  SUCH a fun set!!

I used the hill die in the set with white glitter paper to create my snowy ground.  Then I just cut all my pieces out of a few different colors and some from glitter paper and started mixing and matching pieces.  My fine tweezers made this so much more fun and easy!

So cute, right?!  The dies to cut those tiny snowflakes were also in the set and the larger snowflakes are embellishments available in the Trinity shop in the I'm Dreaming of a White Christmas mix.

And I used the Merry dies as my sentiment for this one... sweet and simple!

I cut lots of extras from the Snowman Border Builder because I knew I'd want to use them again and again.  I'll store them in little clear envelopes... but I didn't put them away quite yet... 'cause I needed some for this:

Have you seen the new Layered Pine stencils???  I used them for the background here and I LOVE them!  I varied my colors a bit and added a few of just the bottom layer in the background... of my background...lol!

And wasn't it just the perfect backdrop for my Frappy Camper?  I decided to dress it up for Christmas this time around.  I paper pieced the red and colored its belt black.  I used the Coffee Cup from Seasonal Sweetheart for a vent pipe again and added one of the little hats from the new Gingerbread House set.  I decided to make it a shaker with those adorable little Frappe sequins!  Perfect, right?  And those lights from the Gingerbread House set were perfect to decorate the camper!

And some of those adorable snowmen joined the party and they've got little frappes themselves!  Those sequins were the perfect size... although I think I'd need a larger cup than that.

I used the Christmas without the outline for this one cut in glitter paper and stacked and the Frappy is from the Frappy Camper Perking Spot set.  I just added some white Nuvo drops all around for a light snowfall and a trio of sequins from the Soapy Bubbles mix of sequins.  (my new favorite!)

I'm playing along with this one over at the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop that started today and continues through next Friday!  Trinity Stamps is a sponsor for the hop and you can check out the hop rules and link up at the main post here!

Now you should make your way over to the wonderfully creative Emelie Hessler's place and see what she's created for you today!

Here is the entire hop list should you need it:
