Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #2 - Coffee and Hearts with Pink and Main!

It’s a new month and time for a new Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  This month our sponsor is Pink and Main and our theme is Coffee and Hearts!  Use at least one heart on your Coffee or Tea themed Christmas card and link up to win an awesome prize from Pink and Main!  Check out all the details over on the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge Blog here

And here’s how I was inspired:

I used that great cup die from Stamp Simply and cut it from Copic friendly paper and stamped that adorable llama from the Pink and Main Llamas stamp set onto it.  Since this particular llama set is not a Christmas set (although there is an adorable one in the shop here) I colored him up in some of my favorite non traditional colors and added a gift from another set.

I created a slimline base using the fabulous Plaid Slimline Die.  I cut it twice from a pink and a lagoon cardstock and glued them together just a bit offset.  Finally I adhered the plaid die cuts to a white base cut just an 1/8 of an inch larger.  I popped the cup onto the base and added some hearts from A Jillian Vance Design and snowflakes that I’d cut previously from glitter paper.  Finally a sentiment from am old MFT holiday llama set stamped onto a fun Paper Smooches banner.

I'm also playing along over at Double Trouble Challenge Blog!  This week it's Something, Anything and Everything!  It's everything goes with a twist of Anything But An A2!  And if you play along with a previous partner, you get an extra chance to win a random prize!  Check it out!

Now head on over to the blog to see what everyone created for you today, gather some inspiration and play along!  And good luck!  Thanks for stopping!

Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge #422 - Tic Tac Toe!

Excited to be guesting over at the Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge Blog for this challenge!  This time around the challenge is a cool Tic Tac Toe Board.  Pick three across, down or diagonally to create your card or other item and as is the rule for every challenge, you must include at least one die cut on your newly created project!  You can enter up to three times and you have until next Monday, June 3rd to submit your entries!  See the Die Cuttin' Divas Blog here for all of the rules (there aren't many).

I chose the bottom left corner to the top right; Three Colors, Polka Dots, and Gems!  Here's how I was inspired:

I used a fun paper pad from Pink & Main called Sunrise for my colors.  I chose Pink, Orange, and Yellow.  And of course they have Polka Dots!

I started with the Lovely Frames Die from Pink Fresh Studio.  I cut the die once from white cardstock and then out of each of the three different polka dot papers.  I adhered the outline of the white Frames panel to a white piece of cardstock and decided what order I'd insert the pink, yellow, and orange pieces inside the frames.  Once I was happy with the look, I adhered the polka dot pieces.  Then I die cut the entire panel using a Rubbernecker Stamps die for a simple stitched outline and added that to a notecard sized piece of cardstock.

Next I took a notecard sized piece of white cardstock and cut one of the Beautiful Blooms die cuts but placing it on the corner edge of the piece so that the die cut would fit nicely in the corner of my card.  I carefully removed the outline and the pieces to insert back into the flowers.  I used popup tape to keep them in place and then popped all of the extra pieces out of the leaves and then added the die cut to the corner of my card.

I used the Word Series: Happy Stamp and Die set for my sentiment and colored in the flowers on the word Happy with orange and yellow to keep with my color scheme for the Tic Tac Toe Board.  I had an extra piece of the Beautiful Blooms die from a previous cut and trimmed off the leaves and tucked them under the sentiment.  To finish it up, I added some sequins in pink and clear, and some Gems in black.. completing my diagonal on the board!

I am also playing along over at Pink Fresh Studio's May Challenge which is Anything Goes!  I was so lucky to win the entire April Release from the PFS blog and I am so grateful!    The dies that I used today were from that release.  So many thanks to Pink Fresh Studio!  I cannot wait to crack open the rest of the beautiful products I received!  And I'm playing along at Simon Says Stamp's Bright Colors Mood Board Wednesday Challenge!  Check all of these great challenges out!

And thanks for stopping by today!  I hope you'll hop on over to the Die Cuttin' Divas Challenge Blog and check out what the Design Team has created!  Get inspired and play along!  Which row will you choose??

Three Amigos Blog Hop February 2019 - Inspiration Photo!

Welcome to the February Three Amigos Blog Hop Challenge!  This month the challenge is based on this beautiful inspiration photo!  It's meant to inspire and not require... so what will inspire you?  Here's what I saw:

I was inspired by the colors... although I have very little pink in mine (except for that adorable tongue...lol!), the blues.. the golds...that orangey color..the gold sentiment...and the circular shape of it reminded me of the sun ray decoration and then the background paper reminded me of the pattern on the pillow.  I love these papers from the Pink and Main Be Brave 6x6 pad.

This is a birthday card for my dad.  He takes care of our dogs for us during the week so this cutie pie from The Cat's Pajamas Whee stamp set is perfect to deliver the message!  He's so excited!  And do you know how long I've wanted that Happy Birthday Circle Frame from MFT??  I finally found it at Doodlebugs and it was perfect for this card!

I thought it would be fun to have him jumping over a bunch of presents and the Presents dies from TCP were perfect!  The bows are beautiful and love all of the different shapes of them.  I used the two box dies that come in the set and then one additional square die from my stash to make one more size of box, cut them from some more of the patterned papers from the paper pad and then layered and stacked them.

I'm playing along with the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes this week and the Outlawz Twisted Thursday which is always anything goes and this week's twist is Die Cuts!  I'm also playing along with Anything Goes over at Die Cuttin Divas... my friend Julie brought this one to my attention!  You should check them out!

That's it for me!  Now be sure to head on over to Susan and Donna's blogs to see how they were inspired by the photo!  And stop on over at the Three Amigos Blog to see who won January's prize and play along in February!

Thanks for stopping!

Fall/Winter 2018 Coffee Lovers Blog Hop - Day 2 1/2

Welcome back!   It's Day 2 of the Coffee Lovers Blog Hop and for my second card for today, I've used some lovely Pink and Main stamps and paper along with dies from Lawn Fawn and Poppy Stamps!

Mmmmm... this was me on Thanksgiving Day...lol!  I started with that beautiful Double Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Die set from Poppy Stamps to cut the polka dot layer from one of the design papers from the fun Pumpkin Spice 6x6 Paper Pad from Pink and Main.

Truthfully on Thanksgiving Weekend we went away with the family and I brought along some stamps, ink, paper, Copics and colored pencils and that's what I did during the down time.. I mean don't get me wrong... it was all down time..lol!  But, I colored when everyone else was busy doing other things.  I stamped a bunch of images from the Pumpkin Spice stamp set as well as that adorable Squirrel in a coffee cup from the Perfect Blend set and colored them in while I was there.

Later at home when I was ready, I cut out the images because I was dumb and didn't buy the coordinating dies when I had a chance (SMH).  Then I cut a vellum layer from C.C. Designs just to slightly tone down the busy paper where my images would be layered.  Then I went about deciding what I wanted where and used various thicknesses of popup tape to arrange them including some wonderful popup squares from Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L.   OMG... that squirrel right??  Next after I had my images all attached I cut some of those sweet Stitched Leaves using the Lawn Fawn die from some previously watercolored paper and inserted them where I deemed necessary :)

I decided to nestle this sentiment from the Pumpkin Spice set in with my goodies... just stamped it with Versamark onto some black paper; embossed it in white, cut it out and popped it up!  Just a few sequins scattered around and I was finished!

One more look!  I'm playing along with a few other challenges too!  Over at Double Trouble Challenges, they're all about Holiday Sweet Treats... I'd say this qualifies-and with the sequins I've also met the Twist - you are welcome Twisted Sister!  And they are partnering with Use Your Stuff Challenge... it's a gorgeous holiday mood board... this doesn't fit the colors AT ALL, but it does have lots of yummy goodies on it so I'd say I'm good to go!   Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge is Anything Goes this week and I'm linking up over there.

Thanks so much for visiting me!  I'm hopping and making my way around.  If I normally visit you and you miss me... don't worry... I'll be around!!  I promise... it just might take me a while.  Hope you'll play along over at the Coffee Loving Cardmakers Blog and check out some of the other challenges I'm playing along with.  Just check out the rules for each place before you play along!

And huge thanks to our Super Sponsors for the Coffee Hop!
