A Jillian Vance Design - A Happy Hello

Join me over on the blog over at A Jillian Vance Design for some more foil fun!  Someone asked me about one of my videos because the card at the end looked like the floral was in a different place from where I stamped it.  I had made a few of these panels and just pieced together to video that came out best...lol!  But it made me remember I hadn't ever foiled this one... so I did!

Over on the blog you'll find a link to the card I created before and the video in the same blog post.

You'll find links and details over there!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Hope Your Day Is Beautiful - Miss Ink Stamps

Welcome back!  I've got some more mixed media fun for you today!

I created another alcohol Ink panel using Copic Refills and EVO Paper; let it dry and then applied Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using the Lovely Lattice Stencil and let it dry for a few hours.. I left it for a little less time this time around-maybe about 4 hours.

While it was dry-ish but still sticky, I laid some Gold Shattered Glass Deco Foil over it and then used the Stencil Pal and firmly pressed the foil against the gel to transfer the foil to the stenciled pattern.

Just a bit of extra sparkle and design over the beautiful alcohol ink... I just love it!

I have a quick video for you:

I absolutely love this look as well as the soft ink colors using the Copic Refills... you can bet you'll see more of this here in the future!

Thanks so much for stopping!  I hope you'll come again soon!

Therm O Web *New* Toner Card Fronts - Wild Thing!

I'm very excited to be guesting with Therm O Web this month!  And this week there's a new release of Deco Foil Toner Card Fronts!

I'm sharing a card using one of the new Deco Foil A2 Toner Card Fronts from the Wild Thing Pack!  That cool zebra background was perfect with the Zebra Portrait Stencil from Miss Ink Stamps!

I foiled the card front with some Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil and then die cut it with a rectangle die.  I created the zebra using the layered Zebra Portrait stencil and then fussy cut it out:

Lots of yummy sparkle!

I just love how easy it is to use these Toner Card Fronts for a quick, easy and super fun background!

Thanks so much for stopping and hope you'll come again soon!

Merry Christmas or Whatever - Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge #6 - Masculine

It's a new month and a new challenge over at the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge!  Jaded Blossom is our sponsor and hope you'll play along with us... the theme is Christmas, Coffee and Masculine!  Here's how I was inspired:

I used the awesome Hipster Christmas stamp set from Jaded Blossom!

I used the Perfectly Plaid stencil from Miss Ink along with some Deco Foil Transfer Gel and Deco Foil over a gel print for my background.  After I stenciled it, I dropped something on it before the gel dried so I have some imperfect layers and then decided that distressed was fine with me!  Especially for a masculine card... I know the men in my life are often "distressed" around the edges.

I love the way it came out and it is perfect for that cute reindeer from the Jaded Blossom set and sassy sentiment.  I used snowflakes leftover from my last project and cut a cup from some previously foiled gel print scraps.  There's a lot of shine in this one!  Perfect for Christmas!

Be sure to head on over to the Caffeinated Christmas Card Challenge blog to see what everyone has created for you today and don't forget to play along for a chance to win a gift code to the Jaded Blossom shop!  The theme is as always Christmas and Coffee and this month the twist is Masculine!  Can't wait to see what you create!
