Welcome to some Rubbernecker Inspiration! Today I've used the Hot Air Balloon Die (along with a few other things) to create two completely different kinds of cards!
My first card is a scene! I used the Scalloped die along with the Rectangle die to create a frame for my scene.
Then I created my scene using the Hill dies, the Cloud Trees, and clouds. I used the Tree dies to create some smaller shrub type plants and then added some pink and yellow flowers with Nuvo drops.
Then I cut the balloon from some pretty floral design paper and again from white. I took the white frame and added foam tape to the back of it before I added my other pieces in. That created a nice sticky base to adhere my floral pieces to. And there are a couple really tiny pieces so I just cut the floral and carried the whole cutting plate over to my table so I wouldn't lose them! Finally I just added a sentiment from the Best Wishes Etc clear stamp set with a hand cut banner.
It was fun to create this scene for the balloon die, but it's also great for a quick and simple card like this one:
I love how versatile the lovely dies from Rubbernecker are! I just cut my Scalloped and Stitched Rectangle from white; used an embossing folder on the Stitched Rectangle and popped both layers up with foam tape.
Then I just put the balloon together the same as before! And used the same sentiment... and I love the way it came out!
Hope this helps you look at your dies a little differently... when I saw this die I immediately thought how cute the scene would be that I'd create with it... but I love it all by itself also!
I'm playing along over at Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge which is Anything Goes this week!
I've provided affiliate links below for the Rubbernecker products I used for these two projects. Thanks for stopping!
