Paper Sweeties Plan Your Life Series - January 2017!

Excited to join the Planner Team over at Paper Sweeties!  I've had planners before and last year I didn't fully utilize it or take advantage of the crafty opportunities I had with it and so in 2017 I am Planning to Plan!

This is the first week in my planner.  I love this style of planner because on the days that I don't have as much to do there is lots of room for pretty papers and stamps.  I also love it because I've discovered that my planner also serves as a sort of journal for me.  Not just what I plan on doing, but what I did... so I'll mark down ahead of time what my plans were and then add to it later some journaling about what I did.

I've also decided that this left hand corner of my planner is going to be for illustrations of what made me happy during that time... in this case, my three pups.... and I do love plaid.... although I never wear dresses or hats.... I do think they are pretty... especially in plaid.

And this is the "Business Section"...lol... well.. kinda... I didn't have much to add to Wednesday, but it is around the time that I start counting down the days 'til the weekend...lol!  So added that cute little girl from the Checklist planner set to add a little fun.

Then I used the little tags from the Checklist set to represent some of the things we did at my brother's house and then on the next day I used the coffee stamps to represent what I did that day... NOT much!!....lol!  And I think my favorite planner stamp is gonna be that cute little Done! word...my favorite activity is to finish something... whether it's a project or a bottle of liquid glass.. is that weird?

So thanks for stopping by and hope you'll join me on the 13th of each month when we share our planner pages with you over at Paper Sweeties!  Put it in your planner!

Now check out the rest of my Planner Teammates' projects and see what they have for you today!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #194

Welcome to this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  I used some CTMH Picture My Life cards again for a quick card and this sketch was perfect for it!

Don't you love that ribbon??  That's from the Uptown Ribbon Pack.

This flower is from my stash as well as the feathers... just loved those polka dot feathers when I saw them at Hobby Lobby.  I used a triple layer of sequins in the center of my flower.

Another great sketch from Michelle!  Thanks for stopping by and be sure to play along this week!

Warm Winter Wishes From CDD

So sometimes you don't get all of your Christmas cards out on time and so you need to send a card and maybe you don't want it to be soooo Christmasy... but still Wintery!  I just love this Cocoa Snowman digital stamp!  Isn't he adorable and it's no wonder he has some cute friends hanging out with him.

I used papers from the Doodlebug Kraft In Color Paper pad for my background.  I added a couple layers from the Fancy Stitched Labels dies in vellum and in white.  I embossed all three layers with snowflakes and I love the way each of them looks with the snowflakes and the texture it adds.

This snowman's friends are from the Christmas Cheer stamp set.  I dressed them all in some sort of purple and added a touch of pink because I was inspired by this month's Inspiration Photo for the CDD Monthly Social Media Challenge. #CDDMONTHLY!  You should play along and you might just win some cool stuff!

And here are links to the CDD products I've used:

JessicaLynnOriginal.Com Design Team Announcements

So excited to announce that I'm on the JessicaLynnOriginal team for another term!  All week we've been introducing the Design Team and each of us has used this awesome Brentwood Farmhouse Wreath Digi to create something for you with it.  You can buy it here!  This is Day 6 and I'm your girl for today!

And before you leave here be sure to check out the details below about the cool Giveaway going on right now and you could win a $10 gift certificate to the shop!

But first, let's talk about Brentwood!

Loved this image as soon as I saw it... so many possibilities with it and it's so beautiful, yet so adorable!

I used a couple of other items from the shop along with my wreath... I just couldn't see Brentwood nestled in that wreath without a friend to sing him a song so I added the Beautiful Finch digital image... since it's a digi also, I was able to size it perfectly for the wreath.  (One of the benefits of using digis!).

Then I used this beautiful arrow from the Live The Life You Dream About Spirit Animal clear stamp set.  I knew I wanted to add some pretty flowers and I'm just in love with this arrow and it's beautiful spray of flowers.

So I hope you enjoyed what I created for you today.  If you are new to me, you can find me at these places:

Now for the details about the giveaway:

Be sure you are a follower on the JessicaLynnOriginal Facebook Page.  Find the post above and tag a friend in a comment.  You can tag multiple friends, but one tag per comment.  On the 7th, Jessica will draw 4 winners plus 4 tagged friends!  That's 8 total gift certificates up for grabs.  And please do take the time to check out all of my Design Teamies posts and see what they've created for you:

CAS Card Inspiration for the Cutting Cafe

So yeah...you read me right... CAS!  Me... and I know some of you are going to say... THAT's not CAS... but unless you're new here, you know that for me.... these are CAS... and they were so quick and easy to put together, I made three!  So here is what I made:

The files we used are the Everyday Greetings 1 and Everyday Greetings 2 sets.  I just chose a few sentiments, placed them on my page far enough apart so I could use my scalloped dies to cut them out and leave room for my images or die cuts that I wanted to use with them.

For this one, one of the cute chicks from the Happy Easter From Your Peeps clear stamp set available at the Cutting Cafe Shop was just right.

I used a simple sun stamp from my stash for this one (and yeah... I used an embossing folder to add texture... it's just a little less CAS than the others).  And the papers are from the Echo Park Fall is In The Air 6x6 Paper Pack also available in the shop.

And for this one, I used the Hello Gorgeous papers from My Minds Eye that I bought in the Cutting Cafe Shop.  I cut my hearts out of the same paper I used in my layers.

I added a few clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to each one and here you have the Lisa B version of Clean and Simple.  I'm pretty proud of myself... and I like them... I also like that they are flat so they'll be easy to mail and I won't have to go to the post office... although to be honest... I have some pretty bumpy things in store for you coming up so I haven't turned a new leaf... but I have found a new love for the Kinda Clean and Simple card.... or KCAS (pronounced Kuh-caz).

Thanks for stopping and please do check out my teamies posts on the 7th of the month and you can get to the full list here!

Three Amigos Bloghop January 2017

Welcome to the 2017 Edition of the Three Amigos Blog Hop!  We are three CTMH Consultants and good friends and each month we challenge each other to create something with some awesome CTMH products based on a theme.  This year we're all about the awesome Close to My Heart paper packs!  Either the colors or the actual papers.  This month we're using Sugar Rush and because I didn't order my paper in time, I am using some of the colors from the pack, Blossom, Pomegranate, Seaglass and White Daisy.

I used papers from the coordinating Fundamentals in the colors of the papers in the paper pack.  I also used the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge sketch for this week to help me create a quick card!

For my cluster, I used some premade paper flowers, a badge button that was made by Lori at Choux Choux Paper Art, and some leaves die cut out of Seaglass glitter paper.  I added a few clear sequins... my favorite kind ... well, aside from gold...lol!

And to add a little more texture to my background I embossed using the CTMH Happy Thoughts Embossing folder.

So thanks for stopping today!  Be sure to hop on over to Susan and Donna's Blogs to see what they've created for you!  Also, play along with the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge!  And we've got a surprise and some changes coming up next month so be sure to come back and see us in February!
