Welcome back! It's the 25th of the month and time for the Crafty Elves to share the Christmas Cards we made this month!
I had some adorable images from Art Impressions and MFT already colored and cut out from a previous project that just needed fun backgrounds so I decided I'd use them this month. This pup and the ornaments are from Art Impressions Santa Paws stamp set.
This crafty dude seemed perfect with a fireplace background using the Miss Ink Stamps Letters stamp set. I colored the floors with Copics and stenciled some wallpaper with the Miss Ink Springtime Lace stencil. The tree is from a retired Gina K Designs set and I used it because it was the right size to add a Christmas tree to this scene.
The scene is framed with the Photo Frame from AJVD and I stamped a sentiment from a retired MFT stamp set, Deck The Howls.
Next, a background with the Newton's Nook Holiday Foliage stencil. It's only one layer, but I used a detail brush to add some pink to the berries. I didn't mask... I just tried to be light with the green where the berries were and then added the pink over it.
This pup is from the MFT Stamps Deck The Howls as well as the sentiment. The frame is from Funky Fossil. I decided to insert the inside circle for a less busy background behind that adorable pup.
The big bone is from the Art Impressions set... I just thought it was cute for this little dog to have a huge bone for Christmas. And the tree was cut using an old Paper Smooches die. I added ornaments with Nuvo drops and a gold star sequin.
For this one I used the Miss Ink Pawsome stencil for the background. I masked the stencil to make the paws multi colored rows. The frame is from Stamps of Life... it's one of my new faves.
I decorated one tree and decided this pup would rather have quantity over quality... so he's got a whole pile of bones for his gift.
The paw ornament is from the AI set and another sentiment from the MFT set.
That's me for today. My pink and green cardstock on all of these cards is from the latest Your Paper Insider box... and the green glitter is scraps left from a previous box.
Now be sure to head on over to Debra's place to see what she has for you today!
