Graciellie Design - A Fall Card Using a Christmas Digi

Popping in to share with you another card using the beautiful new Christmas Cheer set from Graciellie Design and to remind you that there is a contest going on over at the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Group on Facebook... create something using one of Graciellie's beautiful coffee sets and have a chance to win $75...yes... 7-5 ... to choose some more gorgeous digital stamps from the shop!

Today I also used the Autumn flavored set, Obsessively Grateful... color is everything!  I used some Autumn Colors to use this beautiful Christmas cup for a Fall card.  I started by pulling the leaf images into word and creating a layered background with the images... resizing and turning them to make a random pile of leaves.  Printed it on some inexpensive watercolor paper and foiled it using some Gina K Gold Sequins foil in my Minc.

I used the Smooshing Technique with an acrylic block, some distress inks and water to add color to the background along with some splatters with a paintbrush.  Then I water colored using the distress inks and a paintbrush all of my extra images I printed... the beautiful cup and the leaves... including an extra cup to use for piecing and cut them all out.  The leaves are foiled in Gina K Dazzling Orange foil that I picked up over the weekend in the booth where I got to meet Ms. Gina!!  (Awesome).  I cut out an extra cup and flower to layer on top of the image for a little more dimension.

I added a gold foil butterfly and I'm playing along with the current challenge over at Double Trouble to use at least three colors...haha!  Challenge?  ... and an image, digital or stamped!  You should check it out!  And they are collaborating with the Brown Sugar Challenge, Creatures Great and Small.. hence me butterfly!  (I'm so sorry Tracey but I couldn't fit the pun in this one... but I'll try again!!)

I had printed out a page of the sentiments that came with the Obsessively Grateful set and die cut this one with a banner die and added a few splatters of watercolored distress inks on this too.  Cut out the extra flowers and foliage from the extra cup image I colored.

One more peek!  And I'm also playing along with the Outlawz Twisted Thursday challenge this week with a twist of In The Garden!  I think you may find a few of these items in your garden!

So be sure to head on over to the Coffee Loving Papercrafters Group on Facebook and play along with this challenge!!  If  you aren't a member then come along and join us!  Please be sure to answer the questions when you submit so we know you want to be there!

WOW, beautiful, colorful, sparkly, gorgeous, stunning, amazing, awesome...oh wait I have to go to my synonyms...exceptional, magnificent, splendid, superlative...oh my there had to be a hundred words and I'm sure each one fit perfectly but I want to leave room for other commenters. And I'm not being prejudice either, but Mary Poppins says this best "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" Thanks for sharing with us at Double Trouble, and believe me I don't think Twisted Sister will complain that there's no pun.

You really know how to do magic with digital images. I could not imagine making such a gorgeous card that way as I am a computer user clutz! But I so admire the beautiful work you did as this is a fantastic card design. And, the colors are perfect for Fall. Fabulous card design Lisa.

Stunning card Lisa. I love the sentiment. I thought "oh I wished she would have included a critter" and then I looked again and saw your foil flutterby! Thanks for joining us at Double Trouble!
